Public Inquiry will be held into Abuse at Muckamore

Robin Swann, Health Minister has confirmed this afternoon at the Assembly that a public inquiry will now be held into events occurring at Muckamore Abbey Hospital.

Claire McKeegan who acts for many of the patients and their family has welcomed the development. She noted that careful consideration now needs to be given to the terms of reference and personnel appointed to conduct such an important inquiry.
