A technical error by the PSNI resulted in a minor and his father being unlawfully stopped and searched in or around August 2020. Legal proceedings were issued, and a settlement of £1,500 has now been awarded to the minor. This settlement was formally approved by Antrim County Court on 24 November 2025.
